- National Higher education bill-2020 accepted by cabinet now it will be placed in parliament for acceptance.
- In 1986 -Education Policy by Rajeev Gandhi & Now after 34 years biggest changes.
- First committee "Committee for Evolution of the New Education Policy"in May 2016 was called by Thirumanilaiyur Sitapati Ramana Subramanian was an Indian bureaucrat who served as the cabinet secretary of the India from August 1996 to March 1998. He was the head to give recommendations on new education policies with 5 members but not accepted fully.
- In June 2017 another committee "Committee fot the Draft National Education Policy" was called under Dr Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan who is an Indian space scientist who headed the Indian Space Research Organization from 1994 to 2003. He is presently Chancellor of Central University of Rajasthan and NIIT University. He is the former chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University and the chairman of Karnataka Knowledge Commission. He presented his point to government on 31 may, 2019 which as accepted by cabinet on 29 july 2020.

5. CONCLUSION :
Industry experts and academics have welcomed the ‘New Education Policy’ and have extended their support and views with the change in policies and the addition of some new ones.
The new education policy announced today is trying to gear up for the changed education reality by extending flexibility, graded levels of autonomy and trying to increase the level of application knowledge along with a broader skill set. One major aspect to look out for will be how this policy is implemented.
